Since so many people ask me to update about orientation, i shall do it now. Actually wanted to do it tml after the whole orientation ends, but today too many activities, i scared i forget. I have short-term memory. ):

Day 1:
Was really superly boring. Didn't really make any friends except in the morning when i reached, but we were in different sub-groups (meaning same group name, but different number), like i was in 'el dorado 3' and she was in 'el dorado 1', so we went to our separate and never talked after that. The first part of orientation, our student buddies gave out our IDs. Then, we went inside the convention hall. Haha, they showed MR BEAN. Okay, continue. There were all the talks and then we played only TWO bonding games and then had our campus tour. Shan't elaborate too much, in case u all get bored and don't want to continue reading the better Day 2.

Day 2:
Today was much much more fun! (: With us getting really high and everything. In the morning, they showed 'tom and jerry' Haha. ytd show 'mr bean' and today this. Tml dunno what funny character will come out. Started off with the CCA talks and the importance of CCAs.

Then after that, GAMES TIME! =D First, we played Scavenger Hunt. We had to look for items that were written on the list given to us. Couldn't find alot of things by ourselves, cos they had already kept our bags somewhere and most of the things could be found inside the bags. But we somehow managed to get most of them from other people. =D

Then after that came the really fun part. Something like the Amazing Race. Just that we didn't go out of school. We stayed in the campus. First, they gave us an envolope with a maths sum inside and we had to figure out where to go, in which this case was Canteen 3. So when we reached there, the station master asked us all to buy food for our lunch, the more the better. But we couldn't eat first, cos we had to play a game with the food and drinks we bought. Okay, here goes. We were given a list of the letters 'A' to 'Z', and using our food, we had to fill in what we had for every single letter. Like 'P' for 'pepper' etc, but they must be inside what we bought, or else no points.

Next, after lunch we took another clue and went to another station to play another game. Must remember the other team members' names. Then we had to split into 2 groups and go on 2 sides, in which one from each side had to sit on a chair and we were blocked by big trash bags. When the trash bags are let down, we had to shout the person's name sitting on the other side and splash water on him/her. I suddenly couldn't remember the name of the girl sitting beside me, and got splashed water in the end. Haha, luckily not much water.

Then, the other station's game was that we had to tie our legs up and walk together along the masking tape collecting the coloured balls, and without stepping on the red balls. Was really difficult lah, required alot of team work.

After that, hmm, let me think. Another game was really stupid. We had to go in to the lecture theatre in pairs collecting one ping pong ball for each pair and then forming the phrase 'our adventure begins'. Let's move on.

The other station was that we had to do star jump first, move on, take one paper from a table, suck it and then put in down on the next table. Then, we had to take the bamboo stick and use i to turn 7 rounds. Then feeling dizzy, we had to walk in a zic-zac manner along a row of several chairs, then take a balloon from another table and blow it. After which, we had to clutch the balloons in between our stomachs and walk back in one straight line to the starting point, and then burst all the balloons. Also required alot of team work, or else the ballons would burst halfway.

Last station: We had to throw a big 'dice' that say 'face' 'cheek' 'head' 'shoulders' 'knees' etc. then pair up and throw one time each. for example, if my partner threw 'FACE' and i threw 'CHEEK' we had to hold a ping pong ball between our face and cheek and walk to a certain destination then throw the ball down a cardboard box. This continues on until all the balls are 'used up'.

When we meet our station masters at each station, we must greet them and do a cheer for them to gain extra bonus points. Haha. So basically today was all about cheers and shouting our voices out lah. Haha.

Okay lah, it's quite a long entry already, and there's nothing more to update. Don't get bored. It's a good thing if u've read till here. Wahaha. Tml last day of orientation!! Tahan! (: Nerissa, dun worry, u'll do fine =D Second day shld be better. Bye!
